Taj Devi Ratn - A Royal Getaway
Oct 31, 2025
After weeks of being on the move and crazy work days, Leo and I finally decided to slow down and treat ourselves to something special — a little luxury, a little peace. We didn’t want to travel too far , yet we wanted to be amidst nature and quiet. That’s how we ended up at Taj Devi Ratn, Jaipur. It was an easy drive from Gurgaon, away from the hustle bustle of Jaipur city but close enough to venture out. (Jaipur also has an airport, well connected to other cities).

The Stay
Set against the backdrop of the Aravalli hills, the resort feels like a blend of art, architecture, and calm. The minute we drove through the gates, Leo perked up — wide open lawns, fresh air, and not a sound of city chaos in the background.
Our room was spacious, elegantly designed, and came prepared with everything Leo could need - a soft bed for him to plonk on, his own water bowl, and a packed meal to get started with. I especially appreciated the kind gesture of taking Leo & me to the room first so we could settle him and then making me sign all documents etc.
What We Loved Most
Pet-Friendly Comfort: The team welcomed Leo like a little guest of honor! From arranging pet bowls and pet products in the room to ensuring he was comfortable, everything was handled with warmth and care.
A Special Pet Zone: The resort’s gardens and lawns are beautifully maintained and perfect for long morning walks. Leo loved the dedicated pet zone — complete with obstacle courses, tunnels, and grassy tracks for playtime. Most hotels have kid play areas, this was the first hotel thoughtful enough to have a place for pets to run and play!
Dining Together: One of my favorite parts was that certain restaurants and open-air dining spaces allowed pets. Sharing a morning coffee or evening meal without having to leave Leo behind made the experience that much better. It was easy to order simple home-made meals like Chicken & rice/ Chicken & vegetables/Boiled eggs for Leo.

Final Thoughts
Our stay at Taj Devi Ratn, Jaipur, was the perfect mix of luxury and warmth — a reminder that even high-end travel can feel personal when pets are welcomed with genuine care.
Leo loved every bit of it — from running through the lawns to napping in his plush bed. And I, for once, didn’t have to choose between comfort and his company. It was a short stay, but one that left us both recharged and happy — the kind of getaway that makes you promise to return!
