A Peaceful Staycation at Heritage Village Resort – With Leo by My Side
Travelling with a pet isn’t always easy, which is why choosing the right place matters so much. For this staycation, I wanted somewhere calm, scenic, and genuinely pet-friendly—where Leo could feel just as relaxed as I did. Heritage Village Resort turned out to be exactly that.
From the moment we arrived, the space felt open and soothing. Lush greenery, wide pathways, and a quiet atmosphere set the tone for a slow, mindful break from everyday life.

Our room looked out onto beautiful green surroundings—perfect for lazy mornings and peaceful evenings. Leo quickly made himself at home, watching the outdoors from his favourite spot while I enjoyed the stillness.
The resort is pet-friendly (with a pet stay charge) and provides thoughtful essentials like a pet bed, bowl, and toy, making the stay comfortable from the very start.
Walks, Open Spaces & Fresh Air
One of the best parts of staying here was the abundance of open spaces. Clean, safe paths made long walks easy and enjoyable. Morning strolls felt unhurried, while evenings were perfect for winding down together.

Beach Days & Little Surprises
A major highlight was the clean beach located right next to the resort, ideal for long walks and playtime. Watching Leo explore the sand while the waves rolled in was one of those simple joys that make a staycation special.
The property also features two restaurants and a bar, along with live music every day, adding a relaxed, holiday vibe. And then there’s a delightful surprise—over 20 in-house cats who freely roam the property, making every walk a little more interesting.
Thoughtful Details for Pet Parents
For pet parents, the small details matter. The resort offers customised meals for dogs, and on-call pet sitters and walkers if you need to step out for a bit. These touches make it easier to truly relax, knowing your pet is well cared for.
